Email is no Longer an Option
The time when sending emails to patients was considered cutting edge are over. Today, email isn’t an option—it’s a hallmark of successful professional dental practice management.
Every progressive dental practice collects clients’ email addresses along with other contact information and provides clients with the email address for the practice. Even if you don’t yet have a website for your practice up and running yet, you should put your email address on your letterhead and business cards so busy and techno-savvy clients can have immediate contact with you.
You should market your services by email both actively and passively. Email marketing services such as Constant Contact will manage your client email list and send professionally formatted, highly readable emails on your behalf.
The active part of email marketing is promoting your services; the passive part is sending out E-cards for holidays and other special occasions such as clients’ birthdays. Everyone appreciates being remembered, and those “passive” email messages can generate a ton of active appreciation for you, too.
