When you Stop Marketing, Your Dental Practice Fails to Exist for Potential Patients
Marketing is a never-ending process, not something you do only when patient numbers are down and you need to rustle up some new patients to pay the bills.
Look at it this way: It's wonderful to have a full appointment book and be making money all the time, but you can't depend on that lasting because things change in patients' lives everyday. People move away, children graduate and go out on their own in another city, older patients die, etc. etc. And because the circumstances in patients' lives change, you may well find more openings in your appointment calendar than you would like to have.
If you didn't continue marketing when the calendar was full, you're virtually invisible to potential patients when it isn't full. So keep on marketing 24/7 in some form or another. Put new prospects on a waiting list if you must, but don't stop marketing!
