Give Away T-shirts, Pens and Ball Caps When Patients Come In – It’s a Great Advertising Tool
No office ever has enough ballpoint pens. It's an unwritten law that unlike empty wire hangers, which multiply exponentially between the times you open your closet door, ballpoint pens disappear with such rapidity you suspect them of having ribbed a bank!
A great solution to the ballpoint pen problem is to order several hundred of them, all imprinted with the name of your dental practice and your phone number, and keep them available at your front desk for your staff members to hand out. Ask your dental receptionist to offer a pen the instant she sees patients reach for their own pens in purse or pocket. "Here, have a pen on us" means your patients leave with a little more than they came with, which is always a good feeling to encourage, especially when they've just written checks that leave a substantial amount of their money "behind"!
In addition to ordering personalized pens, ask your novelties provider for baseball caps and t-shirts similarly imprinted with your practice name or company logo. The t-shirts could also be imprinted with a catchy slogan as well. Just imagine how happy your patients will feel walking out of your office with a brand new baseball cap and t-shirt—and everywhere they wear these, they'll be acting as unpaid walking billboards for your practice!
