After Hours Emergency Dental Care – Absence of Support May be Costing you Business

Dentists and their office staff members work hard for the patients who come into their offices, and by the end of the day everyone's ready to go home for some much needed rest and relaxation.

Unfortunately, the needs of dental patients don't stop. Your patients can develop problems at any hour of the day or night, and unappealing as it may sound, if you're not available to help them they may well find another dentist who is.

After hours is when most emergencies seem to occur, so providing a support system for your patients that they can rely on when your office is officially closed is imperative for keeping your practice growing and going.  Not providing after hours support may well cost you business by causing patients to find another dental office with a good after hours support system.

So make sure that patients can each you when they need to, even if it's the middle of the night. Remember, there's nothing worse than having a toothache at midnight and knowing you'll have to suffer for hours before your dentist can help you!
