Your Dental Team can be Your Best Marketers
You should think of everyone who works in your office in at least three ways: as individuals, as the nice people you hired to do specific jobs to help you serve your patients well and increase your revenues and as full time marketers for your dental practice.
What? you ask: My staff are marketers? You bet they are! Every time a patient interacts with one of your staff members, that staff member either increases or decreases that patient's sense of comfort, well being and feeling of being cared about. If those feelings increase, patients look forward to returning to your office and refer their friends and family members as well. And isn't that what good marketing is all about?
Everyone on your dental team is your marketer. Every interaction they have with patients will influence those patients favorably or unfavorably. Without consciously trying, your entire dental team can make or break your practice!
To ensure that they help rather than hinder you, explain to your dental team members just how important each of them actually is to the success of your practice. When your dental team members recognize the full extent of their marketing power, they will use that power judiciously and in ways that are good for the health of your practice!
